Product Analyst

We love the game and our passionate product organization is focused on building awesome products to serve our community. We need someone who can help our product team analyze the data behind our products and how our members are using and enjoying what we build. You will also help us use that data to strategize on new products, and improve our existing products. You will also have a voice in our product marketing initiatives. 

About You

You’re quantitative (spreadsheets make you happy). You love chess (moving pieces makes you happy)! You have a keen eye for product and would love to be “the numbers person” for our amazing product organization. You want to work for a passion-driven company full of warm, funny, brilliant, diverse humans. 

What You’ll Do

  • Be “the numbers person” on the Product team, within our BizOps organization 
  • Nail down important metrics and KPIs that we want to track, and figure out how to track them and report on them consistently
  • Respond to requests for metrics from various key members of the Product team
  • Help drive improvements to how we process and leverage data across Product 
  • Work closely with our Product and Executive teams to deliver great data and insights, and to help us think both tactically and strategically. 

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of work experience in a quantitative area
  • Deep experience with (and love of!) KPIs and metrics
  • Understanding of chess and current chess products and features on the market
  • Lifelong learner

About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position
  • We are 100% remote (always have been, always will be)
